HMUA RELEASE, LIABILITY WAIVER, CONFIDENTIALITY, AND NON-COMPETE AGREEMENT

Runway 817 Fashion Show | Fort Worth Fashion Week

By submitting this form and participating in Runway 817 Fashion Show, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Use of Images & Likeness

• You grant Runway 817 Fashion Show, its affiliates, sponsors, media partners, and representatives the irrevocable right to capture, use, distribute, and publish photographs, videos, and other recordings of you for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes in print, digital, and social media platforms.
• You waive any right to inspect or approve the final use of your image or likeness.

2. No Compensation

• Participation in the event is voluntary, and you understand that you will not receive financial compensation, royalties, or other payments for the use of your image or likeness.
• You waive any claim for compensation, including but not limited to claims of misrepresentation or defamation.

3. Rights & Ownership of Media Content

• All photographs, videos, and media captured during the event remain the sole property of Runway 817 Fashion Show and its designated partners.
• The event organizers reserve the right to edit, modify, reproduce, and distribute content at their discretion.
• You may not sell or authorize third parties to use media from the event without prior written consent from Runway 817 Fashion Show.

4. Mutual Release of Liability

• You agree to release, waive, and discharge Runway 817 Fashion Show, Fort Worth Fashion Week, its organizers, affiliates, sponsors, staff, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, damages, or injuries arising from participation in the event.
• This includes, but is not limited to, injuries, accidents, lost or stolen property, and any harm resulting from event-related activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
• Likewise, Runway 817 Fashion Show agrees to release you from liability for any claims solely related to the lawful and permitted use of your image as stated in this agreement.

5. Indemnification Clause

• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Runway 817 Fashion Show, its partners, sponsors, staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of your actions, conduct, or participation in the event.

6. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Clause

• You acknowledge that certain aspects of the event, including behind-the-scenes operations, designer collections, marketing strategies, and unreleased content, may be confidential and proprietary.
• You agree not to disclose, share, or distribute any confidential, trade secret, or privileged information obtained through your participation in the event without express written permission from Runway 817 Fashion Show.
• This confidentiality agreement remains in effect indefinitely beyond the conclusion of the event.

7. Non-Compete & Intellectual Property Protection Clause

• You agree that for a period of twelve (12) months following the event, you will not organize, assist in organizing, or participate in any competing fashion event in Fort Worth, Texas, that directly rivals or seeks to replicate Runway 817 Fashion Show without prior written approval.
• You acknowledge that all branding, concepts, show structure, and intellectual property associated with Runway 817 Fashion Show belong exclusively to the event organizers and cannot be copied, modified, or used without explicit permission.

8. No Revocation

• This release is binding and cannot be revoked at a later date.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
• Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved through arbitration in Tarrant County, Texas.

10. Acknowledgment & Agreement

By signing and submitting this form, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign on your behalf.
