After years in the modeling industry, Anna Venko and her husband Elijah De La Garza are spearheading an effort to turn the city of Fort Worth, Texas into a fashion hub that they hope will one day parallel those of New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles.
By collaborating with the Fort Worth Independent School District, they are shining a spotlight on The Next Generation of fashion designers by bringing High School and College Student designers to the forefront of their premier fashion show, while showcasing elite. By utilizing the stunning backdrop of The Modern Museum, they are showcasing living works of art, hand selecting the premier and most fashion forward designers in the metroplex and beyond. Taking advantage of Anna’s experiences walking the runways at New York Fashion Week, they have customized a show for designers and models.
